Terms of service

These terms cover using CredooFy on a Shopify store. Installing the app means agreeing to them.
What the app is
CredooFy collects product reviews from a store's customers, stores them, and displays them on the storefront through theme blocks and an app proxy. It is software provided as a service, not a consultancy and not a guarantee of any commercial result.
Who owns what
Your reviews are yours. Everything collected through the app belongs to the store that collected it. A full export, including the original photo and video files, is available on every plan and at every moment, including after a downgrade or a failed charge. Nothing in these terms gives CredooFy a right to sell, publish or train on that content.
The app itself — its code, design and name — stays ours.
Your side of it
- Do not publish reviews you know to be fake, and do not use the app to write them. There is no feature that would let you, and asking for one will not produce it.
- Do not use the review-request emails for marketing. They are for asking a customer about something they bought. Sending anything else through them is a misuse of other people's inboxes and of the sending reputation this app depends on.
- Honour unsubscribes. The app honours them for you; do not work around it.
- Follow the law where your customers are, including consumer review rules on incentives and disclosure. The app records when a review was written for an incentive and discloses it; do not defeat that.
- Keep your Shopify account secure. Anyone who can get into your Shopify admin can get into the app.
Moderation and honesty
You may hide any review, and you will be asked why. The app never uses a rating to decide whether a review is published, and it tells your shoppers so on a public disclosure page. Using the app while misrepresenting how reviews are selected is a breach of these terms, not merely a bad idea.
Price and billing
The free plan is free. Pro is $6.99 a month or $69.90 a year, charged through Shopify and billed on your Shopify invoice. There is a 14-day trial on Pro.
There is no overage on any plan. Exceeding an allowance stops the metered action; it never produces a larger bill.
Prices can change. If they do, an existing subscription keeps its price until the subscription is changed, and you will be told before anything moves. Cancel at any time from the app's plan page or from Shopify; the subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
What never goes away
Regardless of plan, billing state or account standing, you keep: reading every review you have collected; a full export including original media; deleting reviews and media; your reviews staying visible on your storefront with their star ratings; moderation, hide reasons and replies; the disclosure page and the report path; privacy export and erasure; and reviews collected during a trial.
Availability
The app is provided as it is, without an uptime guarantee. It runs on third-party infrastructure — Shopify, Railway, Neon — and depends on them. Planned work that would interrupt service will be announced in advance where that is possible.
Ending it
You can uninstall at any time from your Shopify admin, and billing stops at the end of the current period. Shopify then sends a shop-redaction request on its own schedule and everything belonging to your shop is deleted. Export anything you want to keep before you uninstall.
We may suspend an account that is being used to publish reviews known to be fake, to send marketing through the request emails, or to break the law. Where it is possible to tell you first and give you a chance to fix it, we will.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, CredooFy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or lost revenue. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim — which, on the free plan, is nothing.
Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
The date at the top changes when the terms do. A change that materially affects you will be announced in the app before it applies.
